Shots fired at Central Michigan University

Okay...he said lots of things...none of which justify making our Constitution into the suicide pact some of you are aiming for.

given the experiences of the founding fathers, do you think it's likely that they would have made a constitution that ultimately delivered absolute power to a government?????? why is freedom a suicide pact?

You have more faith in the masses than I do.
yes, because a free people usually respect the freedom of others.

I prefer getting more strict constructionalists and originalists in the courts.
or what we call 'supporting the oligarchy'

$21 trillion in debt and counting, it would seem that the state has no problem spending the peoples money especially since they can always print more fiat currency.
we're not talking about the states money, we're talking about money handed over to individuals in office, fattening their own wallets.

Lol that was not a Lincoln quote it was the dissenting opinion of Justice Jackson from his dissent in Terminiello v. City of Chicago in which he argued for banning unpopular speech, like I said it isn't just the 2nd amendment that the left hates, they want to eliminate the 2nd so we are unable to defend the 1st.

It is popularly attributed to Abraham Lincoln...although many others have used variations on it.

Yeah, Justice Jackson did...but I'll stick with Lincoln, better to make the point that American conservatives and Libertarians seem intent on turning the Constitution into a suicide pact.

You guys just don't want to be governed. Neither do the penguins of Antarctica. Maybe that is where you folk should go.

the problem lies with liberals, like yourself, that think people need to be controlled. governing is not controlling the people. and freedom is not a suicide pact, at least to freedom lovers.

Since you asked, I think our founding fathers would have considered today's Libertarians to be jackasses. I think they would have understood that society and civilization require that each individual give up lots of their freedom...for the better good of society and civilization.

But I understand. For people like you, red lights and stop signs, among other things, are an inconvenience.

Well, Smarter, "freedom" implies obligation...whether you can see it or not.

Luckily society and civilization will win out over the barbarism, chaos, and anarchy you consider "freedom" to be.

Yeah...to people like you...nothing less than chaos and anarchy is truly freedom.

Civilized people have been at war with the like of you...and eventually will win.

By the way: I am NOT a liberal.

No we don't want to be enslaved which is your ultimate goal, you leftist lovers of tyranny won't stop with disarming the citizenry that's only the beginning. Your efforts to overthrow the Constitution are in vein you fascist little prick.

Inalienable rights aren't chaos and anarchy jjack ass.

Civilized people have been at war with the like of you...and eventually will win.

Actually they have been at war with tyrannical scum like you, and guess what? We won.

By the way: I am NOT a liberal.

You're a leftist POS, provide a single post where you have criticized any left leaning person. I'll wait.

Not the rightys. They think their freedoms are superior to others. They want blacks, latinos and Muslims to lose their rights, so the rightys rights are free .

What a classy guy. No wonder you like Donald Trump. Neither of you have any at all.

awww, are you mad because I don't fall to your whims of slavery? If a law was made to outlaw abortion, would you be happy about that because it's 'the law'?

"If a law was made to outlaw abortion, would you be happy about that because it's 'the law'?'
No I wouldn't be happy, but it would be the law and it would have to be followed!

That's Stalin, Hitler, and Mao not the Founding Fathers you laughable fuck.

I certainly advocate for a progressive agenda. The only reason I do that is because only a jerkoff would not do it...and I am not a jerkoff.

I also am not a liberal...no matter that I advocate for a progressive agenda.

As for "criticizing any left leaning person" you might check out my comments in this thread, before shooting off your mouth:

See if there are any "left leaning" people with whom I disagreed there.
