I am sure there are abuses, however that would be the exception rather than the rule.. Where many foreign nationals get into trouble, is when they stay after their job/sponsor Igama is over.. Then they fall thru the cracks and are easy prey to unscrupulous people. That's why the SAG rounds them up periodically and flies them home.

There are currently many maids and female servants on death row in Saudi Arabia. These are desperately poor women abused by their employers, Indonesians account for the majority of the maids on death row but there are Sri Lankans, Filipinos, Indians and Ethiopians also facing execution.
