Public Troubled by ‘Deep State’

neocon bill kristol has created a group called "hamilton 68" that stokes fear of russian bots on twitter, and has pushed numerous false stories that have later been retracted.

the russia hysteria is neocon propaganda, the same type used to whip america into a frenzy over iraq, and dumbass liberals have fallen for it this time because they think in doing so they are opposing trump. The neocons have planned this since before trump even announced his candidacy.

Russia has paid trolls that monitor a bunch of subreddits on reddit, twitter, facebook, etc... they shoot out far right crazy talking points aimed at dividing Americans. Then they massively upvote themselves with upvote bots to give themselves disproportionate voice. They also use these upvote bots on useful idiots (far right "Americans" who support anti-American divisive far right ideology). This is all an attempt to stoke a race war and destroy America so that their ambitions of regional domination of eurasia can go unchecked.

I am for war with Russia. I was fine with them in 2014. But now that they fucked with America, we're about to teach them a lesson.

I also have no doubt that /r/fullcommunism is dominated by Russian trolls and upvote bots. That's the only way to explain their bizarre fascination with Assad.

Hate to say, and I know you can't accept it, but that is all inneundo, narratives compiled by generalizing circumstantial evidence that is framed and echoed until some accept them as fact

And don't bother to reply with some "fact based" opinion piece you think validates your interpretation, seen them all, one can't disprove that which has yet to be proven
you make no effort to refute, and you fail to see Executive order 12333 multiplies the number of intelligence analysts who have access to NSA surveillance, which is captured in large quantities and often isn’t subject to warrant requirements.

It's another assault on privacy, and it shares unverified info without a warrant

the rule change applies to surveillance under a highly influential and mostly secret Reagan-era executive order, known as 12333, which sets rules governing exclusively foreign-focused intelligence collection.

Privacy advocates and whistleblowers have long pointed to broad latitude presented within 12333 that they contend provides a way of avoiding the ostensibly court-ordered surveillance of Fisa. Some said that the new rule change underscores their fears.

“This development is very troubling for Americans’ privacy,” said John Napier Tye, a former state department official turned surveillance whistleblower. “Most people don’t realize this, but even our purely domestic email and text messages are often stored on servers outside the United States. And the NSA has written extremely permissive rules for itself to collect data outside US borders.

“So in operations overseas, the NSA is scooping up a lot of purely domestic communications. And now, with these new rules, many different federal agencies can search and read the domestic communications of normal Americans, without any warrant or oversight from Congress or the courts.”

you can be in control of something and still have preferences, or still have an easier time with a different candidate, or an easier time going to war. that doesn't mean you don't exist, or don't have influence, or aren't powerful. they pulled out all the stops with bill kristol and romney and others trying to tank trump as much as possible, but they still (at least publicly) have to exist within legal parameters.

Wait a minute, so now Kristol and Rommey are part of this "deep state" conspiracy?

We're going to need scorecard

If the deep state exists they support Trump absolutely. They are right wing fanatics, and they did rig the election. They're also loyal to Russia rather than the United States.
upside down..
Deep State is the source of Russiaphobia..it's what THEY DO. They got Russian boogeymen under their beds.

It's not about L-R domestic ideology, it's about weaponization of the IC community

a majority of americans disagree with you.

the deep state is plain as day

A majority of the people are dunces, fully 50% are less than average.
That is why the founders were so fearfull of the tyrany of the masses.

See the next post for a perfect example of average.

Do you drool when you spew this verbal diarrhea?

Did you read the topic post, thread, or the post I was exchanging?

The theme applied was that this unspecified "deep state" existed, and according to the way poster framed it, most Americans believed it and that it was directly working against Trump

And you jump in with "number of intelligence analysts who have access......?"

As I noted, innuendo, largely created to deflect attention off of the Mueller investigation, defense by attacking the messenger

"talking about?" The fact that this whole "deep state" conspiracy machine is designed purposely to serve as deflection to divert attention off of the real investigation, haven't you noticed the efforts have escalated the closer it appears Mueller is getting to the White House?

You really didn't think Nunes's secret twilight Ubers to the White House were to discuss the weather did you?

Mueller might want to think about escalating things before the IG report comes out.

those of us who were PAYING ATTENTION were talking about Deep State shenanigans since before the Mueller probe -
back to the inauguration..
You should PAY ATTENTION to the fact the IC leadership was/is corrupt and partisan
( and not just the FBI) and it goes back to even before the election.

If you don't want to know _OK fine,
but there is no need to DEFLECT TO MUELLER everytime a discussion breaks out on D.S.

Interesting part of the poll the poster left out;

"Americans of black, Latino and Asian backgrounds (35%) are more likely than non-Hispanic whites (23%) to say that the Deep State definitely exists. Non-whites (60%) are also somewhat more likely than whites (50%) to worry about the government monitoring them and similarly more likely to believe there is already widespread government monitoring of U.S. citizens (60% and 49%, respectively). More non-whites (35%) than whites (23%) say that such monitoring is rarely or never justified."

Interesting how conservatives adapted a left wing concept that has existed since the 1950's and implied that it is now all about Trump

Finding out about Peter Strzok and the Secret Society got a lot of Americans thinking. The Deep State is real.
