Mueller to Clear Trump

Hello PoliTalker.....

true.....it should have been "Mueller to admit lib'ruls have always been wrong about Trump and the Russians".........

That is absolutely not what is happening. Trump will likely get nailed for a few charges. He has spent a lifetime playing near and over the edge, like wealthy people can. But in the presidency of the US, the laws do matter. Are you going to admit you backed a damn crook in the end? I can answer that. Nope, rightys cannot do that.,

So now an "opinion " piece from a guy who doesnt know any more facts about this than we do, is an expert?
Its pure garbage.

Robert Charles is a former assistant secretary of state for President George W. Bush, former naval intelligence officer and litigator. He served in the Reagan and Bush 41 White Houses.

But he didn't. He announced eleven days before the election that he was reopening the Clinton investigation.

WTH kind of conspiracy is that? Comey may well have given Trump the White House.

Comey exonerated Hillary on national TV.

Regardless of what came after, he and Strzok got together and changed gross negligence to ‘extreme carelessness’ just to keep from charging her. The only reason it landed in Comey’s lap is because AG Lynch was forced to recuse after meeting Bill Clinton on the tarmac while the investigation was going on.

Do you think Mueller will play word games to keep from charging Trump lol? That’s actually funny.

The 11th hour reopening of the investigation was Anthony Weiner’s fault. Weiner was the fly in the ointment. Apparently, even Comey, Strzok and Andy McCabe couldn’t control everything in their little scheme, so they did the best they could and shut the investigation down—and exonerated Hillary, again for the second time, before ballots were actually cast.

Keep in mind the 7th floor oversees investigations—they don’t do them. The rank and file agents do the foot work. So when the additional emails were brought to the attention of Comey and co [I bet they wanted to kill Anthony Weiner lol] they had to either act on it or risk a rebellion from the rank and file.

Hence, the really-really quick ‘investigation’.

Anything that could be used to compromise or blackmail the president is fair game.

Even though Trump didn't produce his tax returns you can guarantee that the IRS will have audited him. For the average taxpayer, the odds of being audited by the Internal Revenue Service are just 0.7%. Unless you're President Trump, in which case your chance of an audit rises to 100%.

It's not just that his net worth and more than 500 partnerships make him a likely audit target under IRS policies designed to direct its enforcement efforts to the richest taxpayers. Under an obscure Internal Revenue Service rule, the tax returns of the president and vice president are automatically audited, every year, no exceptions. That rule has been in place in one form or another since the Nixon administration, and it details the process for auditing presidential tax returns in minute detail — even down the color of folder they must be kept in.

Presidential tax returns have been subjected to that process for more than 40 years, but it's taken on new significance this year. It's indisputable that Trump's tax returns will be the most complicated of any president in history, and he's the first president since Gerald Ford to refuse to publicly release copies of those returns.

I think it is very possible that Mueller will not find any direct criminal wrongdoing by Trump. His associates, yes obviously. Trump, perhaps not. Ever since Reagan-Iran Contra underlings have been very cognizant of providing their bosses plausible deniability. Treason is almost impossible to prove criminally.

Colluding with the Russians, getting peed on by Russian prostitutes, and dubious financial ties with Russian oligarchs may step over the threshold of ethical violations of the public trust. But Mueller is not investigating ethics.

I think there are political and ethical questions here that are just as important, if not more so, than the criminal question. Why was the Kremlin so keen on having Dump win?
Why did Trump spend so much effort denying the Kremlin was trying to undermine American democracy?
Why did Trump beg the Kremlin to hack his opponent - a fellow American from a different political party?
Why was Dump's son in law meeting with Russian operatives to dig up dirt on Clinton?
These actions may all be at the blurry boundary between unethical behavior, and criminal acts. But Mueller is strictly charged with looking into violations of federal law.
And that's exactly what brings down the crumbling trump empire. And with state laws on the table as well, trump can't pardon himself

But so far my garbage has been accurate lol.

I’ve been calling Russian collusion a junk theory for over a year now. But a gullible little lemming like yourself gobbled it right up, huh?
And because a Fox opinion writer who parrots Hannity agrees with you, you think you 'called it'?

Part of the garbage I spew is that Impeachment is a political process.

If democrats are counting on voters conveniently forgetting that the investigation *began* on the premise that Trump colluded with Russians to turn the election—they will do it at their own political peril.

Recall that Clinton’s numbers went up after House Republicans went to impeach him.

Proving collusion is important to Mueller’s witch hunt whether you want to believe it or not.
He's had collusion in his pocket for a year. Perhaps trump lets his family take that hit, or he thinks he can pardon them. But this was never a 'witch hunt', and there is a list of legal trouble for trump no matter the collusion outcome for him personally.

I haven’t watched anything more than the occasional clip of Hannity in years, literally.

Even if I did, you parrot the establishment media right down the line.

It is a witch hunt because Mueller is searching for a crime.

It can’t be constitutional, in fact. But we need another SP appointed before we change the rules.

Hello hvilleherb,

I believe he does.

"Office Of The Deputy Attorney General, Washington DC
ORDER NO. 3915-2017
APPOINTMENT OF SPECIAL COUNSEL TO INVESTIGATE RUSSIAN INTERFERENCE WITH THE 2016 PRESIDENTIAL ELECTION AND RELATED MATTERS

c) If the Special Counsel believes it is necessary and appropriate, the Special Counsel is authorized to prosecute federal crimes arising from the investigation of these matters."

His Actual Authority

That gives all the authority needed. It says all Mueller has to do is believe it is necessary and appropriate to look into money laundering and he can BRING CHARGES AGAINST PRESIDENT TRUMP. He is absolutely authorized to do that.

And listen to yourself!

Do you want this President so badly that you are willing to give him a pass on money laundering? Why would you not want to know about it and have justice served, if he really did it? That's preposterous. We can't have a criminal hold our highest office. That makes a mockery of the rule of law. It's like using the Constitution to wrap a fish. Come on! What do you stand for?

This goes way beyond refusing to show his taxes. He wasn't required to do that. But he is required to follow federal law. No man is above the law. This lawful order is how Justice makes sure the President is held to the law of the land.

This may explain, however, why he would NOT show his taxes.

Even after he said he would, numerous times and gave numerous conditions which were accepted, only to see him move the goal posts and change the conditions, ending with the 'under audit' lie. (Being under audit does not prevent one from showing their taxes.) And being President does not prevent one from being held to the law of the land.
His corporate taxes will show his ties to Russian banks. Thus the secrecy.

As if it's even a secret, as one of the Lil' trumps had admitted so on t.v years ago.

Incorrect. You have no idea where Mueller is right now. Nor does Hannity.
