"2020 Census Will Ask About Respondents' Citizenship Status"

Why would we need to count ILLEGAL aliens? They don't have voting rights and therefore, do not need representation.

Maybe because they are people and use services and pay taxes. How about because the census is to count people.People, not citizens. We have always had non citizens in America. I bet you think by not counting them, they will go away or not matter. Lots of people are in the process of becoming citizens. Think we should count them as 3/5ths of a person. We could give them a mule.

You don't determine representation based upon voting, if we do the population of the US would be half of what is declared considering only half the population votes, and that only counts those that are registered

Dear moron; the census is taken to determine representation. Good lord, this is why I hate arguing with uneducated idiots.

A census is intended to count people living in the US, it's not suppose to have conditions determining if you live here, but the actual number of bodies residing here

WTF does this have to do with asking if you are a citizen? How are you NOT counted if you are asked a citizen question? Moron.

Still get back to the original question, why now the need to resurrect something that was put on the shelf nearly seventy years ago?

It wasn't 70 years ago. It was also asked in the 2010 census. Why do you keep lying like this? Why do you rant about it being asked?

You do know that the question is valid and legal and there is nothing you whiny lying leftists can do about it, right?

Whoa, one in six were sent the form, the form you claim was THE census form, who's the "moron" now?

You're going to moronically claim this was not a census form? No one can be this ignorant and stupid.

And to repeat, the question has not been on THE actual census form filled out by Americans, the one in six getting the long form included the short form in the first questions, no matter how you frame it, and regardless of the personal crapola you need to employ to cover your misunderstanding, your still wrong

Yet, this form was used in the census and is a part of census gathering and as such, makes the claim that they haven't asked the question for 70 years a lie.

Of course, if you are shrill lying leftist asshat on steroids, the FACTS and TRUTH must be ignored and you will continue to parrot that patently false claim.

Why? Because you are a moron.

Last I knew, representation was based upon the number of people living in a certain geographical area without conditions, the Constitution just doesn't apply to just people who are recognized citizens

If you are not a citizen, you don't require representation. Moron.

Maybe because they are people and use services and pay taxes.

They are ILLEGAL aliens. The ONLY thing they need to use is transportation back to where they came from. You cannot pay taxes if you are here ILLEGALLY. This is why one cannot argue with idiots.

How about because the census is to count people.People, not citizens.

It is used to count CITIZENS to determine how representatives of each state shall be apportioned.

Article One of the United States Constitution
a constant 435 House seats have been apportioned among the states according to each census

We have always had non citizens in America. I bet you think by not counting them, they will go away or not matter. Lots of people are in the process of becoming citizens. Think we should count them as 3/5ths of a person. We could give them a mule.

Wrong; I think counting them and determining their citizenship assists in a more accurate apportionment because non-citizens do not get to vote or need representation in the House of Representatives.

If you are not a citizen, you don't require representation. Moron.

You do count. Again what about people who are in the process of becoming citizens? The census count PEOPLE. Not citizens. The representatives represent everyone in their district. This citizen shit is about counting the "right"people.

[h=1]Should the census ask if you've cheated on your wife or husband with a porn star?

Or if you've engaged in deviant behavior with Russian hookers?[/h]

Don't you love when the #fakenews is so easily debunked:

2000 census. I direct you to question 13:

"The U.S. Commerce Department announced late Monday that it will restore a question about citizenship to the 2020 census questionnaire."

"The last time a question about citizenship was included in the census questionnaire was 1950."

I suppose the biggest question is why, but then again, we all know why, even further evident in Huckabee's flat out lie in today's press conference attempting to justify the questions inclusion, "This is something that’s been part of the census for decades"

We all know why an open borders POS like you wouldn't want to know.

[h=1]Should the census ask if you've cheated on your wife or husband with a porn star?

They wouldn't need to ask your significant other any questions of that type. When she's the doorknob of the neighborhood where everyone's had their turn, people already know.

You do count. Again what about people who are in the process of becoming citizens? The census count PEOPLE. Not citizens. The representatives represent everyone in their district. This citizen shit is about counting the "right"people.

Representatives aren't elected to represent illegals despite how much you believe they should be here.

Crying and making stupid shit up doesn't change the FACT that they have done it in 2010 and they will be doing it again. But I do get it....you have a serious case of .....wait for it....

WARNING…….Trump Derangement Syndrome.…….WARNING! :rofl2:

Absurdity; the last refuge for ignorance and stupidity....and drunkards who cannot think for themselves.

Good, then what you're saying is, there's no need to ask the question because everyone already knows what citizenship you are.

Thanks for playing ... always helpful when someone with firsthand experience shares their personal info.

They don't need to ask your whore whether or not she's been around. Everyone knows that nigger bitch is up for any dick that comes around.

Why was the question removed in the first place?

...they would not be counted, and that has direct impacts on how people are represented in this country.

Newsflash, people who are here illegally shouldn't be represented.
