I am not doing any of what your vivid imagination is conjuring up. I could care less about his stance on guns. I do not hate the young man. I am just pointing out fact. He had time to hide and make a video tape of himself while his supposed friends were being shot. He did nothing to stop that. That truth which seems to anger you for some reason certainly does not make him the best choice to be the voice of this movement. Feel free though to keep making excuses for his actions though.

What is it you presume he should have been doing to stop it when the security guard with a gun did nothing? You are demanding Hogg be a hero as if everyone is cut out the be a hero and should be condemned when they aren't.

Is the security guard the face of this movement? No. You can forget that strawman. No is demanding Hogg have been a hero. Obviously he was too busy video taping himself to bother with anything like that.

If you want to ignorantly claim that the .223 round could "blow someone's guts out" with a single round or two, perhaps you should put up PROOF of them doing so. Not proof of them doing other, unrelated damage to the body. You can't be THAT stupid, can you?

So then why are you intent on condemning him when absolutely everyone pulls out their phones to record any and everything going on in the world right now. He is no different yet you seem to insist he specifically should have acted differently or else he should be condemned. Make up your mind? What exactly is it you are condemning him for? That he did what damn near everyone else does these days and records what was going on, that he didn't just stay quiet in a closet or run for his life like others, or that he failed to face the shooter head on?

Be specific.

Where did I condemn him? Anywhere? All I have done is point out the facts. That particular young man wants everyone to listen to his cause yet when he actually had a chance to do something, he did nothing other than videotape himself. Not even an attempt. I am not sure why so many people on this board are having a problem seeing that hypocrisy.

You are evading the question. SO WHAT he recorded himself. What the hell does that have to do with being concerned about people rampaging with guns? SO WHAT he talks to the media and people are listening? What has that got to do with recording himself? SO WHAT he isn't the perfect spokesperson for this cause, in your eyes? Who are you to decide who that spokesperson should be? He is, at the moment, in the lime light. Others were before him and others will be after him. That is the nature of the news beast.
