The press was given a lot of responsibility for ending Vietnam war. they did actual reporting with sending news and photos back home. The military found a way to stop that. The embedding not only gives them control over the reporters locations, but makes them feel dependent on the military for their safety. Then Rummy gave the press conferences controlling and editing the messages.

Correct. As I pointed out a couple days ago, I constantly get begging emails for this and that leftist cause or candidate. I have yet to get a single solicitation from a lefty source regarding the Parkland kids. I've received a couple of petition requests regarding the NRA, but nothing specifically regarding the students.

Unlike yourself, the product of abiogenesis (see thread), the kids have parents, siblings, grandparents, friends, and the support of millions of parents across the country. As I said in the post above this one, there are no lefty organizations soliciting funding for the kids and their marches. These arise almost spontaneously once the word goes out, like ours here in MQT did. There is no need for funding for a march anyways -- ppl get there on their own, bring their own signs and shirts, and take their rubbish (hopefully anyways) with them when they leave. As for the kids' trip to DC, their flight was courtesy of the owner of the New England Patriots.

We get that you gun-humpers want them to sit down and shut up. They aren't going away. Deal with it.

Wonder why the New England Patriots owner didn't fly out all the kids who wanted to speak, btw? I'll have to look into that...
That being said, whoever got to fly on that plane?...perfect example of support from the left.
They can fuss all they want-it's fine, especially if school is out for the summer...In the meantime, the majority of kids, parents, siblings, grandparents, friends and the support of millions of other across the country will see to it that real changes happen...
You all will just have deal with that reality...
