How Mary Jo Kopechne was a victim of the Kennedys TWICE

Your obsession with fake Trump pics is disturbing.

I saw the movie; it wasn't nearly as scandalous as I thought, and they certainly weren't trying to protect Teddy or the Kennedys.

He was a goofball and pretty stupid, but there was no malice or even that extreme of a "cover up" attempt afterwards.

Stormy Daniels taking a lie detector test in 2011 where she said she "had unprotected sex with Donald Trump", when Barron was four months old.

Don't make me laugh, of course there was a cover up!! Why did he wait 10 hours before he reported the incident?

There was, and I didn't deny that - but I thought it was some sort of extreme thing. He wasn't trying to organize a cover-up in those 10 hours, at least according to this portrayal, which I think was really trying to be faithful to what happened (as I said, it is a VERY unsympathetic view of Teddy & the Kennedys). He was more like a lost kid who didn't know what to do, and was afraid of getting in trouble. Sad and reprehensible, yes, but not nearly as scandalous as I thought.

The "cover up" was more of a temporary immediate reaction, with his dad pushing him to come up w/ an alibi, and in the 1st hours considering trying to say that she was driving - but the statement he made the next morning basically abandoned that & took responsibility.

The lengths Thingy goes to on order to defend democrats... But he claims he isn't one. There is no defense of Kennedy, but leave it to thingy to come up with one.

There is a theory that the real cover up was Kennedy about to have sex with an unnamed politician's wife. Mary Jo Kopechne has gone to sleep in the car because the party was too noisy and Kennedy didn't notice her when he drove over Dykes Bridge. He and the politician's wife swam away and thus began the true cover up.

Is there any evidence of that?

Sounds more like one of those info wars things that Trump would tweet about for a few days (but not saying he believed it - just that "many are saying it")

I guess it's one of those events that will always be shrouded in some mystery, because there were no real witnesses.

I just don't see Ted K. as sinister. I think he's a goofball who I feel a little sorry for, having to live in the shadow of brothers who were much smarter & more talented than he was, and live up to a name and expectation that he never asked for.

Not to take away from what happened at Chappaquidick, which was obviously a tragedy.

Fair assessment but I wouldn't call him a goofball so much as a complete fuck up.
