OK so it is clear that nobody holds the fat clown in high regard, nonetheless it cant be contested that millions of stone cold losers

The GOP is winning, or at least are on the winning track for November. The DNC has no real message or platform. All its eggs are in hoping against hope Mueller can take down Trump.

but what is the GOP Congress going to run on?
Tax reform> that was enough for the first year, but this year is a Republican Congressional washout.

Don't know, but if you elect the democrats they will raise your taxes and reimpose the insurance mandate certainly would sell to some people. Senate democrats have blocked DACA efforts might be one. Who knows. A lot of them an run on "I'm the incumbent" and that will be good enough. I am not sure I agree with analysts who have come to the conclusion that the GOP will pick up seats in the Senate and lose the House, which seems to be the consensus prediction. If anything, I see it going the other way. The DCCC simply sucks when it comes to challenging incumbents in red areas. They really do not have a good grass roots ground game outside big cities. Big cities can swing Senate seats with over-performance/turnout, but not a lot of congressional districts outside of them.

Also I think you will see a fundamental transformation of the middle east under trump. Getting there wont be pretty but what he is doing has a better chance of establishing jew-sunni hegemony over the area and breaking iran than other things that have been tried in the past.

Oh yeah, that is what is happening. trump has an administration that is in endless turmoil. It is horribly run. It only serves the billionaires who want things like environmental regulation wrecked. Rightys don't breathe or drink water. They know corporations love you and would never harm you. They desperately want the plutocrats to have the power they deserve.

I guess in righty land the blue wave is impossible. Fox told them so.

The OP puts it perfectly—Democrats are making Trump the issue.

They never listen to me lol, but I think that’s a mistake. I know it’s a mistake, actually. The only question is how big of a mistake it is.

Outside of The Bubble, people are sick of hearing about Russia and/or collusion. Mueller may come up with something but that looks increasingly unlikely. In fact, democrats may have their own ‘Mueller issue’ to contend with by November—in the form of the Huber investigation which the media is dutifully doing it’s best to ignore.

The economy is dong so well democrats have been forced to try and credit Obama for it. Trump has weathered ‘Stormy’ and every other political storm that would sink a normal politician. Trump has made significant progress with NK, he is pressuring China on trade concessions like no one ever has.

Meanwhile, I can’t name a single idea democrats are going to run on in November, except—‘no more Trump’.

Maybe it’s just me, but that sounds like a recipe for disaster.

Either way, America loses. But it's probably less damaging in the long run if we dump Trump.

Trump is taking down the GOP. The Dems don't really have to do anything.
