What the United States Attorney is looking for and why?

Trump has publicly confessed to enough obstruction of justice instances to be impeached and tried for those alone.

How stupid was that post. Stormy is important because of potential campaign violations. There is also talk that it leads to money laundering, which is one of Trumps business models.The payoff was 10 days before the election. Apparently Mueller ran into some interesting and important facts that implicated Trumps lawyer, maybe Trump too. This is not about the collusion, which none of us have a hint about what is happening with that. You say 10 times a day that collusion is not being pursued but you do not know that. So you should stop it.

Yes, we're all aware that the FEC says that if the expenditure has anything to do with the campaign that Trump SHOULD have used campaign funds to pay her. But, what if it didn't? It could have been purely personal, stopping further distress and embarrassment to his wife and family. In that case the payoff was a personal expense so, campaign funds were NOT used.

is it possible to forum shop for a warrant with a judge with liberal leanings? Similar to how challenges to Trumps eos come mostly from the ninth district?

For example do you believe one judge would grant a warrant while another would not?

That raid will end up being the single most important item in the very long "Trump is dirty" litany.

All the people who had to sign off on that thing were convinced it was an appropriate move. They had to be convinced there was significant evidence of a CRIME...and that there was significant evidence that it might be destroyed if not obtained this way.

What crime could it possibly be though? The comments on the tape are vulgar and crude, but they're not criminal. Or was there more on the tape that *could* be considered criminal, and thus a rationale for getting the search warrants so that they could get to the real crimes -- fraud, money laundering, etc.?

I agree that in the Lester Holt interview Rump basically admitted to obstruction of justice.
