What a fascinating revelation, who knew?KSA is desert.........
Yes to point out just how gullible and easily persuaded you are. I can well see why you'd find that embarrassing.

????....they made a lake so they could build something that floated on it to make less energy than the energy it took to make the lake?.........
The lake was in an old coal mining pit.
Yes they are called fourth generation nuclear fission based on thorium and molten fluoride salt technology, and eventually nuclear fusion. Meanwhile CCGT is clean, totally dependable, dispatchable and available 24/7. What's more the world is awash with the stuff. There are lots or new ideas, innovations and possibilities for diversifying energy sources and reducing environmental impact of overuse of fossil fuels. I think it pretty exciting.
Yes the dozy mare somehow thought that sticking a small 40 megawatt solar plant on a lake is somehow comparable to the impossible task of putting a 2 gigawatt solar plant in the middle of the Indian Ocean. You have to be pretty gullible to fall for that, of course living in California helps.????....they made a lake so they could build something that floated on it to make less energy than the energy it took to make the lake?.........
They sold it all to some mugs in California.stupid gits forgot to paint their roads white.....

But you do agree that painting the roads white is a really dumb idea, right?Title isn't supported by the text. Not a surprise.
You can read the article I posted. But you do agree that painting the roads white is a really dumb idea, right?

I posted a link to an article from last year. There were marked differences in road temps between the white roads, and black roads a few blocks away. The point is to reduce urban temperatures. Black roads suck up a lot of heat, a white coating can be a lot cooler. Although white colors (like ice) do reduce global temperatures, of course the effect of coating LA roads would be incredibly minimal. Someone may have mentioned that but it's a huge stretch.

Yep..which reduces the need for electricity when demand is typically the highest. By default, it will indeed contribute to the task of slowing climate change.Yep, it makes the area cooler, more pleasant to live in. Probably reduces air conditioning costs.
Yes you are right, it isn't dispatchable like hydro and gas. But it is dependable and provides a constant baseload 24/7.Nuclear generation can't be scaled up and down though. It always produces power, you can't just turn it off.
