I think his definition of racist is too restricted. Racism is, in its barest essentials, simply bigotry based on race. There are racists of all stripes. It's actually racist to deny that, as some do.

Racism exists all over the world, in the US it almost always seems to boils down to whites being racist. China, India and much of Africa are deeply racist. You only have to look at Rwanda, how else can you explain nearly a million Tutsis being massacred by Hutus? in many cases, the assailants could identify Tutsis because they look slightly different!! Tutsis tend to be taller, and thinner. They have long noses, high pitch voices and lighter skin. Hutu tend to be shorter, stronger and have relatively broader features, they have also broad noses and lower pitch voices.

Ted Kennedy waited ten hours before reporting the accident, and even then only because the police were already on the scene. It has never been satisfactorily explained what he was doing all that time apart from saving his own neck.
