Some of what you said is true. The govt did use TANKS against these people. When you're a white, christian, gun owner - liberals want you dead.

Do you really believe that? You gun people are nuts. Truth is guns mean everything to you. the left spends little thought on guns. We wish they were gone, but we are used to you guys playing cowboy . Guns are not going any where. that time has passed. I would like to have registration, stopping crazies from getting them and no bump stocks. But if that does not happen, it would be just like it is now. lots of innocent people will die so you can play cowboy. Sad that mechanical device is your reason to live. But it is not ours.

the problem with this is it's mostly lies. the left spends alot of thought on guns, just wanting only the government to have them. Given an inexpensive choice, you'd happily remove them from all civilian hands and be happy that only government has them. See, the left AND the right love their government power so that they can have it used against their perceived political enemies. This is why you have to maintain the whole gun nut theory and anti government paranoia crap.

One has to wonder though, what was it that caused you on the left to have so much more faith in government over the people, that you'd give away your rights and freedoms to government with the faith that government would still be a benevolent servant instead of a cruel master?

Not sure what "lefties" you argue with but I have met very few who want all guns removed. Barely a blip on the radar. The rest just want to be safe with the amount of guns we already have.

95% of the lefties i've dealt with are comfortable with the guns THEY have, but want mine gone. sure, the occasional ones don't mind if I have a single shot .22 or shot gun, maybe a .38 revolver, but that's the extent of their desire for anyone but a leftie to have guns. they don't trust the right and they damn sure don't trust veteran Libertarians. we're just too 'dangerous' for them. it's all about kowtowing to government power, which is what all lefties want.

sure, 95% of the people out there, including you, are more comfortable with government having power over the people than the people having power over the government. it's why you're a slave to the state, though you don't care to realize it. Freedom and Liberty require responsibility, something 95% of the people, including you most likely, don't want to deal with.

And yet you never complain about cars even though americans do far far more killing with cars than guns and even though car violence is much easier to stop than gun violence. A little thing like lowering speed limits back to 55 would save 5,000 lives every year tens of billions of dollars but libs say leave cars alone!!!

Ever hear of courts? How about the power of the public opinion that can be wielded by the government. Trump uses that regularly. Now we have tweets.

Yes we wish Americans were not gun crazy. We wish guns were not everywhere.But try and understand. We have reluctantly accepted that guns will be part of the American culture. You gun babies keep crying that someone it taking them away. When has that happened? But you guys cry and cry about the need to protect your manhood weapons. try new orleans after katrina, try california after the roberti-roos act, try a registration requirement in connecticutt (which was largely ignored), try deerfield illinois where the chief has orders to confiscate. you must accept that firearms will ALWAYS be the reason why we have a United States of America and no amount of whittling away at our non-negotiable rights will take them because we will fight back. it will be bloody and you will finally be considered domestic enemies of the constitution.
