3.5 million doesn’t mean they are voting. I am still registered in Alaska having moved to Texas, I’ve asked to be removed from their rolls, but still got a ballot by mail because I had just moved to TX and didn’t qualify to vote here for the 2016 election, so I voted absentee which was legal. I voted in my first TX election this year.
So, I would have to actually see proof from you that there was fraud committed by these 3.5 million voters. The states holding election claim fraud is very limited.

I’m not against asking for state ID or drivers license, but some people don’t drive, like my mother, so other forms of ID need to be acceptable.

When you register to vote, you have to show your ID. Then the election bureau checks your application out. If you qualify, they send you a voters card and assign you a precinct to vote in. It is not like there is no ID involved.

However voter ID is a burden to old people and poor people. It cuts their abilities to exercise their right to vote. But then, that is the point of ID. It is not about insuring the vote is fair. It is about stopping select groups of people from voting.
