He can't unilaterally change it and not enough states would vote for it so don't freak out
 
The EC reflects the make up up Congressional representation..
I don't hear any complaints about Congress's representation

How does one get embarrassed by something that isn't what determines the winners?

When it comes to electing a President, we use the electoral college system, something that you Hillary supporters are still embarrassed knowing you couldn't win. The final score is what counts and the final score is determined by the Electoral College. In the most recent election, that score was 304 -227 in favor of Trump.

Even your state of California wouldn't support it. CA having 20% of the required 270 EV it takes to win gets them a lot of attention politically.

What would make anyone embarrassed? Do you ever make sense? This was the 4th time the EC determined the president. It is stupid, but it is our system, and Trump cannot change it.

Ask archives. He's the one that said Trump would be embarrassed


The electoral college has picked the winner all the way back to G. Washington. Overall popular doesn't pick the winner just like most total yards didn't pick the winner of the Superbowl last February. Final score did. IN 2016, it was 304 - 227 for Trump. Hillary got her ass kicked.

Trump should issue a declaration that the next president will be elected by popular vote and only hand over power to the individual who wins by that metric. The electoral college is contrary to all laws of reason and has no right to exist.

Whether he said it or not matters little to me. Whether he believes it or not matters little to me.

He may actually believe it. So what if he does? He has no power to do anything about it so it is a waste of my time thinking about it.

But if it allows you to add another notch in your “I hate Donald Trump” headboard I am happy for you.
