To me, the juciest part of the burger yet!

The Clintons make no money from the foundation, so it is different.

They don't?

The Clinton family’s mega-charity took in more than $140 million in grants and pledges in 2013 but spent just $9 million on direct aid.

The group spent the bulk of its windfall on administration, travel, and salaries and bonuses, with the fattest payouts going to family friends.

On its 2013 tax forms, the most recent available, the foundation claimed it spent $30 million on payroll and employee benefits; $8.7 million in rent and office expenses; $9.2 million on “conferences, conventions and meetings”; $8 million on fundraising; and nearly $8.5 million on travel. None of the Clintons is on the payroll, but they do enjoy first-class flights paid for by the foundation.

In all, the group reported $84.6 million in “functional expenses” on its 2013 tax return and had more than $64 million left over.

You asked a question. I answered. It is simple logic. Chelsea was a dependent of Bill and Hillary at the time they left the White House. She was not gainfully employed that I know of and was a mere college student. If Hillary was dead broke as she claims, then by extension, Chelsea would be dead broke as well.

I guess it is conceivable she had some stash of cash lying around, but you would have to prove that to me.

My logic is unassailable. Sorry if it pains you.

Why did NBC reportedly pay Chelsea Clinton $600,000 a year?

Not when they left the White House

But yes they paid her a handsome sum and gave her a prime slot owing to her massive media experience.

If I recall, she was a colossal failure was she not?

This is a hilarious article about Webb's daughter:

Perhaps we ought to consider whether the Kremlin, to hurt DEMOCRATS, helped put Chelsea Clinton on the cover of Variety. To find fault with the former First Daughter is to invite the wrath of thousands. Love of Chelsea correlates closely with love of Hillary, toward whom her fans have long felt an odd protectiveness, as if she were a stroke survivor regaining the power of speech.

Chelsea is often treated less like an independent multi-millionaire and more like A 12-year-old who still deserves to be left alone.

But let’s have a reality check.

No one bothers George W. Bush’s daughter, Barbara. On the other hand, if you’re posing for magazine covers, granting interviews, doing book tours, placing your name on your parents’ multi-million-dollar foundation, and tweeting out daily to 1.6 million people, then—guess what—you’re a public figure. And if you’ve openly entertained the possibility of running for office if “it was something I felt called to do,” then assurances to the contrary aren’t quite good enough. You’re a public hazard.

Does anyone really believe she won't be "called to run"?

Come on. I know I am a cynic, but I wouldn't be surprised if she timed her pregnancy with Hillary's presidential run

DEMOCRATS love a dynasty, unless it's Republican. I wonder if many of them don't wish to be ruled by Britain.

I have been binge watching John Adams today. I suspect many of today's lefties were descendants of Dickinson and Rutledge.

:dunno:

Historians think that the Patriots were at best a bare majority as they waged the war of Independence.

I suspect that the Loyalists were the ideological forebears of today's DEMOCRATS.

warren would be a great candidate. She is intelligent. She actually has had a lifetime of trying to protect the average and poor American from being cheated by wealthy and the banks. She wrote 9 books of protecting citizens in bankruptcy , She even started the CFPB which has helped stop banking and credit card abuse by manks. Yeah, she would be a great president.
