Has "god" allegedly told you that immigrants should enjoy the legal rights, responsibilities, and benefits the Constitution gives American citizens, Brad?

Conservatives claim these rights to be God given, are we to believe God gives Americans rights he does not give non-Americans?

Default Paradox for Conservatives

Rights come from God not the Government.

Immigrants don’t have the same rights as Americans!

Not again!

Please please PLEASE stop referring to Republicans as conservatives. They're "REPUBLICANS".

During the Goldwater era they may have been.

It's a new millennium, and for Republicans a new world.

If you want to know what a REAL political conservative thinks, all you have to do is ask me.

On immigration, I support the long-tenured standards we've applied, regarding separating children from parents.

I understand immigration reform has merit.

But holding children hostage, and lying that the family division policy of the Trump administration is actually the fault of Democrats in congress is fiction.

Partisan hysteria aside, the children are separated from their parents while border agents sort things out.

The CPS is guilty of worse travesties on *our own citizens*, in some circumstances. Did CNN tell you the separation is permanent?

DEMOCRAT Texas Rep. Henry Cuellar admitted Saturday that the Obama administration attempted to cover up the child migrant crisis occurring at the Souther border.

“It was kept very quiet under the Obama Administration. There were large numbers of people coming in. The Obama administration was trying to keep this quiet,” Cuellar told CNN’s Fredricka Whitfield.

Whitfield displayed a 2014 image of migrant children held in cages at a detention center, and Cuellar said that he released similar photos of children separated from their parents.

Cuellar added that the number of children being held at the border right now is similar to the amount during the Obama administration.

“We still see the numbers,” he said, adding that “not all of them are being separated. Some of them are coming alone.”

“Keep in mind that under the law, you can separate a child if that person, the adult, is not the real parent or the custodian because sometimes we see situations where they’ll bring a child because they know of the policy that we have over here with children.”

"Partisan hysteria aside, the children are separated from their parents while border agents sort things out.

a) I don't get cable.

b) "Partisan hysteria"? It was the lead story on tonight's NBC Nightly News. And it's been prominently featured elsewhere. I'd tell you whether it lead on FNS, but today's broadcast was preempted by soccer.

c) "the children are separated from their parents while border agents sort things out."
"the children are separated from their parents while border agents sort things out" for the first time in history; due to Trump administration procedure change, which the president himself has blamed on congressional Democrats.

d) "The CPS is guilty of worse travesties on *our own citizens*,"
probably. Are you alleging that's a change for the worse since Trump's inauguration too?
Or are you capable of comprehending the difference between the complications of CPS handling cases individually with virtual infinite variation,
vs
a brand new Trump administration policy change unprecedented in history?

No.
I didn't think so.

Rights come from God not the Government.

Immigrants don’t have the same rights as Americans!

As with most lies, there is a grain of truth to this. But it is a lie of omission, since the Constitution only guarantees enforcing those rights to citizens of the US.
