Semantics perhaps, but I would not say america was humiliated, I would say america humiliated itself. On the otherhand, since we're actively supporting genocide in Gaza with the Israelis and in Yemen with the Wahabist Islamist beheading Saudis, since we militarily support 73% of the world's military dictatorships, since we extract kids from families to cage them, since the cops just blasted another black kid in the back in Pittsburgh; we really and honestly have no business on anyone's Human Rights Council. So in that way, it's a very unusually honest move.

Well, several years ago the settlers in the West Bank threatened to bring down the government if they didn't get their way.. and they do a lot of mean stuff like destroying ancient olive groves.
