[h=1]Trump's Kentucky Campaign Chair convicted of child sex trafficking, faces life in prison

What's with Republican Man ...?

Can't handle a real Woman?

Trump's Kentucky Campaign Chair will spend the rest of his life in jail after being convicted of child sex trafficking.

Nolan will serve 20 years in jail & pay restitution of $110,000 to the Kentucky Human Trafficking Victims Fund.

71-year-old Timothy Nolan — a former Campbell County District Judge who was chair of the Trump campaign in Kentucky according to court documents — entered guilty pleas on all 21 counts against him in court on Friday. A press release issued by the office of Kentucky Attorney General Andy Beshear listed a multitude of charges, including human trafficking of adults, human trafficking of minors, and unlawful transaction with minors.

Nolan will serve 20 years in jail and pay restitution of $110,000, with a bulk of the fine going toward the Human Trafficking Victims Fund, which the Kentucky General Assembly established in 2013. Nolan will be eligible for parole in 2022, according to the Cincinnati Enquirer. If he had not entered guilty pleas, Nolan would have faced up to 100 years in prison.

The New York Daily News reported that Nolan had a total of 19 victims dating back to 2004. While the victims’ information has not been publicly released, some of them included children below the age of 18. Judge Kathleen Lape said Nolan threatened arrest and eviction to force women and girls to have sex with him. Nolan also apparently paid the women and juveniles with heroin and painkillers, and gave alcohol to a minor on more than one occasion.

I haven't followed this story very closely admittedly, but I never know really what to do with them since I have heard stories of YMCA's used to require people swim naked and such. It is one of those things I am not sure if there is a generational divide between what people consider normal custom or not as far as the showering part. The abuse part the GOP guy doesn't seem to have been involved with.

I'm gonna give you a general rule of thumb. If the participants are comfortable with the situation and don't feel used or degraded, they DON'T go to authorities and send up flares as much as these kids TRIED to do!!

That doesn't account for all cases of abuse but it's a good start.

Did they? It strikes me as odd when people wait for decades like with the #MeToo celerities stories, but then again, when a lot of them saw the way Clinton's accusers tried and he still got away with it, they were more why bother before. Not sure.

So you say. Can you explain why anyone should accept your opinion as fact?

I'll understand if you can't.

I guess they couldn't get Allred.

It's the Alabama playbook, Ms. Stretch. It worked on Roy Moore, so I suspect it's going to become a DEMOCRAT go-to from now on.

The timing is highly suspect is it not? I would take issue with you calling it the Alabama playbook however. Even though this is what they used on Roy Moore and is the most recent case, this move goes way back

The interesting thing is that I am not hearing a lot on the cable news outlets, particularly PMSNBC. Admittedly I haven't been tuned in the last five days. But, I did watch Mika and Joe Underwood this morning and I didn't see them comment on it. I am wondering if people realize that this has very little to back it up.

20 year old accusations from sketchy accusers of a accused who passed away 13 years ago. Isn't it odd that the accusers are only claiming that Jordan knew about it and did nothing? Why aren't they accusing the head coach? Trainers? Other assistant coaches? Jordan is the only one they claim knew about it and did nothing?

The whole story reeks of left wing slander.

Until proven otherwise, I stand with Jim Jordan

I believe the number is up to seven now

I have my doubts, but I must say it is enjoyable watching one of Washington's biggest snakes caught up in the exact type innuendo based conspiracies that he is famous for attaching to other people.

Guess what goes around does actually come around, couldn't of happened to a better fellow

I'm pretty sure there are a lot of Republican men who post on JPP. What are you suggesting here?

Have another drink and think very carefully before you reply, whitey.

Poor anchovies. Still running the Alabama playbook?

You make a very reasoned case.

If he helped cover this up, he needs to be in the spot light, it’s sad you wouldn’t want the truth to come out. I think no matter how long it’s been, things like this need to be investigated to keep it from happening, again. There should be no statue of limitations.

That's the point. Read your link again. It was an "open secret". "EVERYBODY used to snicker..."
Strauss also may have worked in 5 other universities plus a high school somewhere. None of the abused men went after him.
Coach Russ Hellickson reported Strauss to the school administrators. So THEY knew. THEY should be investigated for not reporting Strauss at the time.
^^^^All this is from your article.^^^^
If the higher-ups at the university and board should have done more, then they should have.

It's not about you being so "sad" falsely claiming that I or anyone is saying we don't want the truth out. Bring it on...go after the administrators and adult (18 and over) college wrestlers for not reporting the man to authorities at the time.

Geeeesh, read your article.

I don't think that there is a statute of limitation on these kinds of crimes.

Something tells me that if Jim Jordan came with a (D) after his name and was an up and coming DNC star, Stretch et al would be calling for him to be hung out to dry. After being thoroughly beaten, of course, and shamed.

Read the article. Strauss was reported to the university administration. Go get THEM...THEY are the ones who covered it up. It was an "open secret" to "everybody" else.

good point. saying "it was known" etc. means Jordan had to know and didn't act.
How does anyone know what he heard or not? everything i read says nobody reported abuse to Jordan.

You can't hold people responsible for "what they should have heard"-if they we not in the loop
