Why didn't you simply say you couldn't show the laws in place at the time because they didn't exist.

The Mayans and other people in Mexico had a form of writing and if I recall, other tribes used symbols for communications, so his statement that American Natives had no written language is incorrect.

Next, we were speaking of the Native Americans, not boatloads of Africans.

Next, if you claim to be a "christian", which obviously you are not, the humanity of providing for the less fortunate should not even be a question. We live in a country where three people, (Gates, Buffet, and Bezos) have more wealth then the bottom 50% of the population. The top 10% of the population own 85% of the wealth. And fools like you think it appropriate to give them more while taking away from programs that help the poor.

So, your "humanitarian" beliefs only apply to the wealthy, not the poor. You are correct in that we do not live in a "perfect world", and idiots like you will insure that never happens.

Hieroglyphics, but why confuse an already addled mind. I could get into how the Native Americans also used natural boundaries such as rivers, lakes, mountains, etc., as property markers, but that would only confuse them more. Then, if we got nto the tribal governments, alliances of tribes, etc. (Delaware Alliance as an example), that would really drive them nuts as if they have not arrived their already.

In other words, we're supposed to take your word for it. My HOA tried what you said in court by telling the judge that they had sent me several letters before fining me for what they deemed a violation of the covenants. When the judge asked them for proof and they couldn't provide it only claim it, I won the case because of lack of proof. In other words, unless it was written down and verifiable, it didn't exist.
