He came for the express purpose of doing the Father's will. The Lamb of God who takes away the sins of the world. He prayed that powerful prayer the night before He was to go to the cross. He cried out, "IF you are willing...". He wasn't looking for loopholes. This was to emphasize total fleshly AND spiritual submission to the will of the Father. He came first as the Lamb, He will return as the Lion.

It's the extreme act of humility. No matter what we pray for, it mustn't be more important than the will of God for us. I may pray for many people and situations, yet always acknowledging that it's God's will that I most want to see accomplished.

Your belief, not mine, it just sounds to me that if his father had decided he didn’t have to do it, he wouldn’t have done it. He was doing it because his father, the boss, said it had to be done and he was obedient.

He and the Father and the Holy Spirit are one. They will always act in agreement.

Doesn’t appear to be the case, he talks about the Father’s will not his. He often talks of the Father as a higher authority.

There are religions who follow the Bible which claim the Trinity is not Biblical.

Whatever. We're headed for a discussion on false teachers and false doctrine now. So I won't continue because it will only stir up strife and no amount of Scriptures will suffice. As you've already said, "Your belief, not mine,...".
