"Getting along with Russia is a good thing - not a bad thing"

Somebody has been watching Stephanie Ruhle on PMSNBC

Kudos to you for regurgitating her words sir

You almost passed that off as your own thoughts. Unfortunately for you I watch the enemy

It wasn’t intended, but he basically laid out the argument for reconfiguring NATO lol.

Which was instituted for Europe’s defense from the USSR—which was a totally different animal.

No, they didn't. It's not an "about face." When did leaders on the left ever see Russia as anything aside from an adversary? Most on the left hated how he treated Clinton and Obama.

There is a huge difference between treating Russia with caution, and no longer seeing them as our "#1 geopolitical threat."

Funny when the left was mocking Romney you didn't say a peep

Poor old man. He can't articulate his own thoughts, it seems.

All he is saying w/ this timing is "we don't care what you do." And he is giving Putin EVERYTHING he wants, just like Kim.

I mean, if this was a Democrat? Talk radio would be going bananas. Fox would work 'treason' into a few headlines a week. This would be unacceptable, and you know it.
I put you down for not talking..thanks for the confirmation..

your reasoning that a meeting is "giving everything to Putin" while we arm Ukraine militias, expand NATO,
increase weaponization and cold war posture, and sanction oligarchs and shut out Russia from western banking is ...
what do you call it? "giving everything to Putin" ROFL

What would calling off the meeting accomplish other than making you feel squishy?

The meeting was scheduled long before Rosenweasles calculated announcement.

You do know that there was nothing new in these indictments right? It was all information we already knew? Or did you not know that? Did you think that these are actually new revelations?

I guess you guys either do not understand, or simply do not care, what the timing of this shows the rest of the world, or what kind of message it gives Putin.

This is sort of the age of naïve foreign policy - the State Dept. has basically been dismantled, so it's not surprising. But it is alarming how few there are that understand these things beyond the mere surface level of "hey, it's always good to meet."

But he's so saintly when he does it.

Bill Clinton wanted to get along with the Russians. Bush II did. Obama did and as well as Secretary Hillary.

But Trump isn’t allowed to lol.

Obama trying to collude with Medvedev, back then, liberals were just fine with it and it made perfect sense:

Obama open mic slip: 'After my election I have more flexibility' to bend over for him.

This is something I can definitely agree with Trump on. Diplomacy should always be the first approach, fear-mongering from the Dems on meeting with world leaders to come to peaceful solutions is frankly gross and disappointing.

But it is predictable and typical for them.

Will no one heed the piteous cries of little Lord Littlethingy, wailing from the tower of his Fortress of Platitude?

After recent events & revelations, the timing is embarrassing and completely inappropriate.

Why; because you say so?

It's just like w/ Kim - he's giving Putin EXACTLY what he wants, for free.

What has he given up; be very specific?

Trump is weak.

No; you're arguments are weak and in many cases, plain stupid.

But he's really tough w/ Canada. It's so impressive.

So you only like it when Canada is tough with us eh?

Did you have similar concerns about Congressmen and Senators, Democrat and Republican, hastening to Izrael for ' consultations ' prior to the election ?

With all due respect .. you're a one-trick pony. I am pro-Palestinian, but the world does not begin nor end in the Middle East.

Additionally I often find your comments lacking of any responsibility from Arab and Muslim nations to firmly stand for the Palestinian people.

The question in this thread is whether capitulating to a nation with the economy smaller that 3 American states is intelligent or traitorous.

Netanyahu just visited Comrade Putin in Russia. Maybe you can start a thread about that.

It's not a reset of anything; Trump's been one of Putin's assets for years.

There you go again with the lies; do you ever have anything other than lies to bring to a debate?

If Trump doesn't walk away from this summit with the indicted Russians in custody then he's not tough enough to stand up to Putin, or he's in Putin's pocket.

This is nothing more than a massive pile of whiny liberal bile; you seem to be quite full of that as well.

Trouble in the leftist ranks? :rofl2:

And Obama wanted to go public, but McConnell refused.

And Obama directed Comey to investigate it, but then Trump fired Comey.

So how is this not your fault since your guys seemed to obstruct justice for this?

He did.

He wanted to issue a joint, bipartisan statement, but McConnell refused.

Link to this bullshit please.

Then he directed Comey to investigate it, but Trump fired Comey.

Link to this bullshit please.

So this all keeps coming back to you all. Y'all didn't want this to be known, nor did y'all want this to be investigated. If you did, then McConnell would have signed onto the joint statement, and Trump wouldn't have fired Comey.

More bullshit.
