Trump's tariffs will also hurt US producers. They have a small but growing export business and last year China bought 1/5th of that production.. Tariffs will hurt that business.

Yes.. Trump was all over it right after he took office.

Afghanistan is also very rich in natural resources which is probably why the soviets invaded years ago... But, at this point the Chinese are pretty intrenched and using soft tactics.

And BTW, when I was a kid, my dad and my two best friends' dads worked for NASA. Needless to say, we all had several sew-on NASA patches on our jackets, with both the entire name spelled out and with just the acronym.
