US on track to borrow most money since 2008 financial crisis: report

YOUR ASSERTION is that raising the MW kills jobs.

That was why I posted that article.

So can you just admit that your original assertion was really a load of horseshit you were repeating because you didn't want to accept new information that undermined it, please?

Look at what I wrote. I said it eliminates jobs for the those on the margains. The UDub study backs that up. Your NPR article doesn't address those on the margains, its talking about the economy as a whole. Do you understand the difference?

That is precisely what the study showed. You all tried to de-contextualize it by crying crocodile tears over the drop in low-wage employment while ignoring the corresponding hike in higher-wage employment over the same period.

Just more dishonest bullshit from feces-flinging Conservative monkeys.

You resort to name calling each discussion because you get lost. It happened when you didn't understand housing and when you didn't understand unfunded pension liabilities.

That’s a pretty good point. The conservative monkey part! Lol

I'll ask for a third time. Why did even liberal economists say it doesn't show cause and effect? Do you understand the concept? Are you familiar with correlation and causation?

I never said that raising the MW would lead to job growth. What I was saying was that raising the MW doesn't lead to JOB LOSS, which was your fucking argument you asshole.

So to combat your fucking shitty argument, I posted a link showing that states who raised their MW didn't see job loss, but in fact saw stronger job growth.

I never correlated the two. But you correlated raising the MW to job loss, and that correlation was proven wrong in the 2014 data.

So now you're trying to re-frame the conversation to get away from your own original fallacious point, just so you can spare your ego of the embarrassment of admitting that you got conned by "conventional wisdom" which was neither "conventional" nor "wisdom".

You're a scumbag.

JFK died before any tax cuts were passed. So right away you start off completely wrong.

You dishonest idiot; they were JFK's and then Johnson passed them after his assassination.

Secondly, revenue grew from 1964-68 because LBJ increased government spending by 50%

Yeah dumbfuck; increasing Government spending increases Government revenue. You're too fucking stupid to even comprehend how stupid that sounds.

Here is some irony for you; Johnson was able to achieve Kennedy's goal of a tax cut in exchange for promising a budget not to exceed $100 billion in 1965. In true Democrqatic fashion, Johnson lied. Spending that year was 118.2 billion.

Revenue in 1983 was below 1982.

Economic Recovery Tax Act of 1981 was passed on August 13, 1981. 1981 revenue = 599.3 1982 revenue = 617.8. 1983 revenue 600.6 1984 revenue = 666.4

Revenue in 1989 was 991.1 billion. Now I don't know about math challenged dumbfucks like you, but in everyone else's books that is a massive increase in revenue AFTER the tax cuts were implemented.

Increase in Revenue AFTER the 1981 tax cuts = $391.8 BILLION. STFU, seriously.

Revenue from 2001-2004 was below revenue for 2000.

Economic Growth and Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2001 signed into law by President George W. Bush on 7 June 2001.
Jobs and Growth Tax Relief Reconciliation Act of 2003 Signed into law by President George W. Bush on May 28, 2003.

Revenue 2003 = 1,782.3
Revenue 2004 = 1,880.1
Revenue at the end of the Bush Presidency = 2,524.0 An increase from 2003 of $741.7 billion.

STFU, seriously.

KS repealed their tax cuts in 2017 and saw massive deficits turn into massive surpluses.

We aren't talking about Kansas snowflake. The tax cuts didn't cause the deficits; spending MORE than they took in caused them. You lack a brain so simple concepts are beyond your comprehension level.

Nothing you say is accurate or correct. Not even close. You're utterly wrong about all of it.

Says the moron who is proven to be a pathological lying idiot every damned day. STFU, seriously.

Every single political decision you've made in your life has been wrong. Every. Single. One.

My side is winning dumbass; your side is on the sideline. STFU, seriously.

Obama era bullshit. Spare us please. Arbitrary minimum wage laws do not raise incomes. They create false economies and inflationary pushes on the economy as well as layoffs. That is why the Obama reign of ERROR had so much malaise.

LOL!

The argument from you clods was that raising the minimum wage would kill jobs.

The data from 2014 shows that it doesn't.

Rather than admit you were conned, you double down on your nonsense.

Delete your account; kill yourself.

WE are the government; the government is us.

:lolup:Moron thinks we live in a Marxist society. :rofl2:

giphy.gif

And you're not getting to keep more of what you earned from tax cuts. You're getting less and you're going into debt because that's what happened this year and throughout Bush.

STFU; it is obvious you're a pathological lying dumbass.

Bullshit excuses.

GDP growth for 2001 was positive, even with the 6-month recession and 9/11...so there was nothing to recover from.

Secondly, 9/11 had no material impact on the nation's economy whatsoever, and you've yet to provide even a shred of evidence it did. You use it as an excuse for four shitty years of poor growth? LOL!

Facts aren't bullshit snowflake.

The 2001 recession lasted eight months (March-November 2001). It was caused by the Y2K scare in 2000. This created a boom and subsequent bust in dot-com businesses. The 9/11 attack worsened it

This is so hilarious...I fuckin love it.

So before, you argued that it was the dotcom bubble burst that caused the recession, now you use a weirdo link to say Y2K was the cause?

So which was it? Because you've used both as the reason for the recession.

And BTW - recessions don't start mid-quarter. They start on the quarter.

Furthermore, GDP for 2001 WAS STILL POSITIVE, so there's no reason why revenue should have dropped if not because of tax cuts.

If GDP continues to grow, as it did in 2001, revenues should grow as well. Only they didn't grow, they declined.

I didn't post it to prove that raising it creates jobs...I posted it to prove that your assertion about raising it killing jobs was bullshit.

So what's sad is that even when provided with information that contradicts your long-held conventional wisdom, rather than owning up to the fact that your "conventional wisdom" could actually be wrong, you try to make this about something it's not.

Your assertion was that raising the MW kills jobs, and I provided you with evidence from only 4 years ago across 13 states that shows it doesn't.

Now, an adult would take that new information and say to themselves "you know what? I guess I was wrong, and that I should probably question the "conventional wisdom" that led me to being wrong". But you're not an adult. Instead, you ignore that information and stick to your conventional wisdom -that has already been proven wrong- and dig in your heels only because your ego won't let you own up to being incorrect.

I would have respect for you people if you were capable of admitting you were wrong and changing your thinking. But you don't do that because of whatever bullshit entitlement complex you have.

Grow the fuck up.

Yes, I need to grow the Fvck up because you lie about my premise. Makes total sense

LOL!

Federal revenues were below 1982 levels in 1983.

Federal revenues were below 2000 levels from 2001-2004

Here's the actual budget from Kansas with and without the tax cuts:

:lolup:Willful idiot is immune from facts and now bloviates with bullshit. :rofl2:

giphy.gif

No they are not you repugnant moron on steroids; they are the result of SPENDING more than you take in

Or by reducing revenue.

So if you go and tell your boss that you want less money, will that have a net positive or negative affect on your family budget?
