Well, there were about 500 last year who did get support from Republicans, Trump included.
And also last year, the people focusing on the size of the 2018 crowd were the same people who said the grievances of the 500 Conservative Nazis last year were legitimate. In fact, you all spent the last year arguing that those people were representative of Conservatism. Only now that so few showed up have you disassociated yourselves from them, once you realized they have little support.
It's funny how last year, the Nazis marching in Charlottesville were representative of Conservatism, and the Alt-Right, and Trump, but this year they're not.

Last year, Conservatives were saying they were just trying to preserve their Southern Heritage by protesting the removal of Robert E. Lee's statue.

So last year, Conservatives were practically bending over backwards to defend the grievances of the Nazis marching in Charlottesville.
Fast forward 12 months and suddenly they're a bunch of "idiots" who aren't representative of Conservatism, even though Conservatives have spent the last 12 months defending them.
As I said... We may believe that they have a right to show up in public and show people how stupid they are... but you don't care to read that part, you pretend that supporting 1A means that we support the message when clearly we do not. Even when only 500 showed up in Charlottesville... that's the best these people can do, because they do not have widespread support from anybody.
Hardly.....Conservatives were defending the actual history of this and the right of any sovereign state in these UNITED STATES to celebrate any history they wish to celebrate void of some FASCIST LEFTIST attempting to dictate and revise History. I would most enjoy YOU documenting just one example of a Conservative republican (the actual civil rights champions) that OWNED a slave....out of the 4 million slaves in this nation...….ALL WERE OWNED BY DEMOCRATS IN BOTH THE SOUTH AND THE NORTH....with the northern democrats protecting slavery throughout the Republic.
Proceed....find us just one example of a slave owning conservative republican...… What I can find you is a recent example of a democrat Senator (held office until 2010) that was a former member and high office holder in the KKK. You can't hide from the truth found in HISTORY ACTUAL and which party represents true examples of FASCISM.

Of course between 1865 and 2018, the parties switched ideologies and bases. So pretending that Democrats 150 years ago were racists doesn't suddenly absolve Conservatives of racism today.

Employers might be surprised to learn someone is a racist but I doubt friends and family would be. We are more ourselves around those we are comfortable with.
