Is it still dark in there and smells of 100 years of cigarette smoke?
Their filet was always good, but I have a hard time with the atmosphere. They need to remodel. The place was gross.
lol, you sound like my wife. No smell of smoke but nothing else has changed. I consider that part of its charm. I don't eat their steaks any more- way overrated, but the lunchtime burgers are the best!
Another good burger is at the Bradley House. A combination of ground sirloin , ground pork and ground sausage.
You may not like the atmosphere. It's one of the two restaurants I mentioned earlier that cater to the republican crowd.
A little dive in Mountain View called Jamico's has a great burger too. Don't know how they stay in business. I'm usually the only one in there.

I went to an IN and OUT place yesterday.
When I placed my order, I said I wanted a Boycott Cheeseburger, some Boycott Fries, and a Boycott large drink.
The entire staff and customers started clapping and laughing.
By the way, the place was packed and I got the last table.

The guy who first promoted the boycott has now backed off it and even bought his staff in n out. Stupid trying to protest such a California institution as this.

I visit Phoenix and Tucson from time to time, they have them there!
This is one of my favorite burger places, if not my favorite.
Thankfully, it's a guilty pleasure and I don't frequent it often, but boy it would be hard to boycott if I indulged on a regular basis. .........just saying.
