This is where your wrong. See the blue team was already highly motivated. They believe literally Hitler and a Russian agent is running the country. Compared to that what is a SC justice or two. This is why Dem numbers are up throughout the special elections. Republicans however have been more business at normal and need events like this to motivate them.

Maybe though I hate this line of thinking. Supposing you were a basketball team and you won by 10. Does that mean everything you did is correct? No. If you changed x or y you may have won by 20. Each strategy has to be analyzed on its own.

Though I also must point out if Democrats did not fight this hard then their own base would be demotivated. It just has the side effect of motivating the GOP as well.

You certainly could be right. If the Red Team gains seats in the House and the Senate, Blue Team is going to have to rethink it's strategy.

Yes. There are a lot of economic deadzones that can be had. There are a lot of rural areas being hit by the tariffs. At the end of the day, however, the DNC doesn't want the people in its ranks who would appeal to red state voters. They just want to turn out as many blue voters as they can and say fuck the rest of them. They are a cult when it comes to the idea that instead of being a little inclusive, they must try to make themselves even more exclusive. It is a politically dangerous game they are playing.

Ironically, kids who refused to vote in '16 even though they were warned about the SC, just might be motivated to vote after seeing the warnings come to fruition.

Not really. The Nazis don't care about the SC, and the tax cuts were already delivered. The useful idiot has fulfilled his purpose. The only ones motivated by this SC mess on the Nazi side are the screwball Evangelists.

By your logic, the Garland fiasco would have motivated Democrats. Although, it's already been mentioned that most saw Hillary as an easy winner.
