Horrible speaker, and they were justified in their laughter.
How can anyone be that stupid? He is literally totally clueless.
That kind of hollow, self-absorbed, empty boasts wouldn't go over well in just a normal, professional office working environment.
Why did it occur to the Orange Hog to think this kind of embarrassing boastfulness was appropriate in a UN speech??
Someone commented that he just read words with no comprehension of what he was saying. I agree with that assessment. The man could no more detail American policy than my three year old grandson. It truly is embarrassing
I think he spends all his time yelling at the television, rage tweeting, nursing petty grievances, watching cable news, and almost no time on learning or getting better at statecraft and governance.
I am not even sure the word "embarrassing" really captures this kind of abject incompetence and foolishness.

He would not confront Chinese trade barriers despite his promise of an Asian pivot -yet played footsie with Iran
whereby the P+5 negotiations did not address their malign regional behaviors.
He sanctioned Egypt -allowing Russian weapons/presence and commercial contracts to expand into Egypt
overturn decades of policy to isolate da Russians from Egypt,while creating a failed terrorist state next to it that links AQIM to Middle East terrorism.
I am hard pressed to think of ANY worthwhile foreign policy results from Obama at all
