I once lived in Portsmouth, NH, literally on the border of Maine.
I spend some time in Ogunquit every summer.
I used to bring my kids to the petting zoo and amusement park in York when they were little.
I still buy my socks and underwear in one of the outlets in Kittery.

Not a bad guess at all. I know exactly the places you are referring too and spend a bit of time in Maine. This will not affect Collins at all.

Probably not. Like Boston though, Portland does not make up the entire state. She raised around 3 times her opponent last time and I do not see that changing this time.

young women have been a reliable constituency for Collins
who has always presented herself as pro choice.

Maine is NOT the Bible Belt.
They're after her throat now.
And she can't win a school committee seat without them.

I've heard criminals are happy as shat over Kavanaugh. Brett Kavanaugh will the first scotus judge to have lied under oath and no Senator cared or even noticed. I think she was doing what was best for her in the political arena.

The words she spoke were mostly rationalization.

My guess is that before she dies, she will call this her darkest, most regreted moment.

It is my opinion that she just joined the rest of the Republican Party in stabbing the women of America in the back.
