The polls/predictions in 2008 and 2012 (and most other elections) were very accurate. People don't like the polls when it says their side is behind.
A democracy is based on majority rule, that is what makes us a republic/democatic republic/ representative democracy.
Madison sought to create a government in which a majority could not get control of government.
Instead we have this awful system where the minority rules, at this time it is the 1% and their dark money, corporations as people. Horrible.
