yeah right. Trump said it so it must be true. Odd, how he held back until the pressure mounted on him. Trump sells real estate to Saudis. That makes them innocent of all crimes. Trump used words. very impressive.
 
I hope somebody does something. We can't be best buds with people that kill Reporters because they don't like what they report.

We need to make 'Energy Independence' a National Priority. We can't afford to rely on KSA for anything.

My guess: He will give a variation on his "Putin says he didn't do it" crap...and claim that the Saudi's say they didn't do it.

No sanctions or "severe punishment" will ensue.

I hope I am wrong.
