"We are the only nation with birthright citizenship" - another lie

Canada and others have birthright citizenship.

It's weird how much Rightwingers pick and choose which parts of the constitution they like.

For some weird reason, it always comes down to whether it benefits the Republican Party, aka the electoral college which allows them to keep winning against the will of American voters.

It's almost as if their loyalty is to Party and Kremlin, and not to Country.

Thirty nations, and something a conservative should know, it is our Constitution, not Canada's

Natural born citizen is in the conts. THere is nothing natural about breaking into a country and popping out kids to be used as anchors.

Canada and others have birthright citizenship.

Name them, Brad.

BTW, Canada is considering ending birthright citizenship soon.

How about you name the others. Just for comparison to the U.S. and Canada.

That won't turn Trump's lie into truth. Just stack it on woodpile. It doesn't really matter anymore.

The question is probably whether birthright citizenship is an unwanted "magnet" for migration to the USA. The argument alone is
tenuous, so it certainly needs empirical support. Not sure how that can be had given this has been law since the civil war.

I still say you can't blame the child born here to an undocumented mom, so you shouldn't punish the child by rights reduction.
Your fix, if any, is at the border, before someone enters. A child isn't just after acquired contraband you can just load and dump somewhere.

So they are considering changing it, that makes Rump's statement true?

Just scroll down a bi

From the link you cited: "Of advanced economies (as defined by the International Monetary Fund), Canada and the United States are the only countries that observe birthright citizenship." :rofl2:

BTW, that list is outdated, cum gargler. It's 2018 now.

How would that make Rumps's statement more true?

Most of the world doesn't, the UK stopped jus soli in 1981.

Okay.

But the abomination, Donald Trump, said that we are THE ONLY NATION that does.

Totally 100% wrong.

Now look...what's fair is fair...and I do not want to be unfair to him.

I am not saying he is a liar.

I am not saying he is an idiot.

BUT I AM SAYING HE IS A LIAR OR AN IDIOT.

He gets to choose...his supporters get to choose.

MY GUESS is that some, perhaps many, will choose "He is both a liar and an idiot."

That is actually well said.
