Being a Trumpkin maybe you can explain this, didn't Trump promise nearly in everyone of his gym rallies and in the debates that if he was elected he would build a "great, big, beautiful wall" and "Mexico would pay for this wall?." I even believe he accented it by adding "believe me folks, believe me?"

So now he's meeting with Democrats begging for the money to get his "great, big, beautiful wall? And by the way, the President can't reallocate or switch around budgeted momey without Congress's approval, so you can forget that Trump lie

I am ok with the military building the wall, but I would also be very interested in seeing the government shut down for as long as possible.

So like Obama, Trump will work around them and get the Military Corps of Engineers to build it. Then he will implement an excise tax on Mexican goods to pay for it.

Are you really serious? 20 billion or more will be taken from our defense budget to build a wall?
Of course congress would have to approve that, and they we have the antsy problem of the military operating on US soil.A
