Pence looks as shut down as a department store dummy.. Word is he won't be on the ticket for 2020 election. I don't like him, but its a sure thing that his association with Trump has killed his political future.

Border security is a losing issue for democrats, Frankie. After Trump is locked away in federal prison [lol] the issue will be laying there until someone else picks up. Pelosi and Chuckie were doing nothing but posturing on the issue so as to run the clock out to January. And if you can’t see that, you are hopeless.

Trump is right: it’s pointless to pass a real border security bill through the House when it will just die in the Senate for lack of ten democrat votes. THE ONLY reason to do that is to kick the can down the road till January. It’s the same old-same old ‘hey, look at what we’re doing about border security’ when at the end of the day nothing will change.

Trump was going to have none of it, so he shut it down. And he may well shut the government down.

The point is this: why are Pelosi and Schumer so conniving about it? Simple. They don’t want to deal with the issue. Their motives can range from ‘its not something they think they can hold power with’ to the more insidious ‘they WANT a porous border because it means more democrat votes in the long run’.

It’s an issue for those 63 million Trump voters, Frankie. They won’t go away even if Trump does. Democrats would do well to get serious about it instead of playing political games with it.

Just after Dubyah was selected, Comedy Channel did 'That's My Bush'...(youtube it). It portrayed Dubyah as a bumbling moron. I didn't watch it much, as it was pretty corny.

It ended suddenly after 9/11 happened.

I think Baldwin should headline a similar sitcom aimed at the orange buffoon.

What I saw was Pelosi and Schumer allowing Trump to make as big a fool of himself as possible. They were encouraging him to do so...and he was accommodating them.

Schumer was almost consumed with laughter at what was happening...as were most Democratic Party politicians. I am thinking most Republican Party politicians were feeling what Mike Pence was feeling!

If a bill for the wall could get through the House...it would have already.

Trump does not have the votes. Pelosi schooled him on that among other things.

I saw in the clip where Chuckie and Pelosi said they would compromise on ‘border security’ to keep from shutting down the government. But Trump stood his ground and said [to the effect] he wouldn’t sign any bill without a border security provision.

Clearly, they are talking about two different things. The Pelosi/Schumer version of ‘border security’ is what got us to this place. For decades, both sides have made promises on border security—yet here we are fending off caravans of Hondurans at our southern border. Let me reiterate: it’s NOT just a democrat thing—both sides are culpable in it.

And Trump comes along and wants to build a damn wall lol.

Democrats should get behind Trump on the wall. Think about it: once the wall is built the immigration issue is off the table and democrats won’t have to worry about how to ‘not talk about it’ and/or resort to the same old empty promises on border security—that people are starting to see through.

A big reason Trump won the WH is because he was actually serious about border security. Here is the chance for democrats to take the issue from him. Fund the wall and make it a dead issue.

Trump exposed Pelosi and Schumer for what they are, do nothings.

Listening to Pelosi suggest Trump send the vote to the house on funding for the wall, knowing full well the 60 vote threshold would be obstructed by her party in the Senate is all Trump wanted to get out there in the public airwaves.

Nancy and Chuck do not want to accomplish anything, that's not why they feel they are there. They are simply there to obstruct progress, obstruct Trump, and collect their paychecks. They are the problem, the problem that is our political typical Washington.
If either of them were from districts, or states in Schumers case where the moonbats didn't grossly outnumber conservatives, they would actually have to govern.

Trump wins again, pay close attention over the next few weeks on this wall issue. The ring leader is still......the ring leader
