Trump pulls out of Syria

Of course, Bush's insertions into Syria "counts as an intervention.

We should not have been in Syria, but we were under Bush, who created ISIS, Obama made the mistake of going into Syria and back into Iraq; and President Doofus Trump, DESPITE his campaign promises grew those involvements.

Now Doofus Trump withdraws, not because we have won (we have not), but to keep his wavering base in camp.

Trump is only for Trump, as we shall see this coming year.

I disagree.. Assad has always been a bad actor.. keeping troops in Lebanon and assassinating Rafic Hariri.

Trump finished the caliphate off, as promised.

Trump pulled out of Syria when Obama was too weak a leader to go up against Perpetual War Establishment. 2016 saved us from much misery in the Middle East.

We don't care about Russia having all the sand they want in Syria.

All we care about is that Russia knows we will be there right beside them watching them all the way- and protecting Syrian rebels and their fight against Assad- so the Russians and Assad better stay away from them as they are off limits and under our protection.

What I think people miss is that Trump gave Mattis 2 years in the ME. Two years where he had as little restraint as he could possibly have in the American system. Thats why you had all those reports of bombings etc etc. Now that those two years are up Trump wants to pull everyone out as we cant stay there forever.

Thats how war is supposed to work. Get in, kill the people, and get out.
