I can see how Conservatives would get an animated movie confused with their religious text, though. Both are children's stories that feature talking animals.

THERE IS NOTHING INTRINSICALLY WRONG WITH HOMOSEXUALITY. Almost ALL of today's negativity toward it is the result of a few words written in Leviticus.
If the pastor were actually "preaching the truth"...he would be saying, "None of us knows for sure if there are any gods or not...and the god depicted in the Bible is a blood lust god not unlike the gods of the Aztecs...and we ought really to think twice before "worshiping" that god."

I do not appreciate being grouped into your stereotypes. Nor do I appreciate a sanctimonious 'holier-than-thou' downtalking, especially when it is not true, and comes from an individual who purports to be a follower, but then violates the basic tenets of a religion.
Most liberals believe in God. And there is nothing wrong with anyone who doesn't. There happens to be a perfectly good life without any sort of religion whatsoever. Many Americans live it, and happen to be good neighbors, good citizens, and positive contributing productive members of society.
You have made a big mistake here. You have ASSUMED this is done by 'The Left.' That is not the case unless every liberal took part in the vandalism. And that extremely unlikely scenario has not been shown. More likely, one or a small number of individuals did this. To ASSUME that half the nation is responsible for this is a big hateful mistake. To hold 'The Left" responsible is assumption and projection. That is not what Jesus taught, if I understand correctly. Assuming the worst about people, and projecting the transgressions of one or a very small number upon an entire vast group of people is wrong, and it goes against what the Bible teaches. It is shameful to make broad assumptions and spread such vast negativity and hatred. Jesus taught that we should love our enemies.

How do they know who did this? Do they have evidence and proof? Or are they just assuming. Maybe somebody in the church did it just for the publicity.
