Being realistic, how many people fleeing the Middle East are going to travel to Mexico with the hope of walking into the US via the southern border?
Assuming they are even educated individuals from the Middle East do you think they are going to easily adjust into a culture completely alien to them which speaks a language they have never heard and practices a religion they don't understand?
I wouldn't stay up late nights worrying about that one

Well, your terror profile isn't going to be a refugee. The only terrorists apparently fleeing from the ME are those who are embedded with the refugees trying to get into Europe, as a cover. To avoid detection by intelligence agencies, a terrorist would likely have to travel to Central America, and then sneak into Mexico with a caravan group.
