Former KKK leader David Duke endorsed Hawaii Democrat Tulsi Gabbard

LOL. That's all it takes. An endorsement by Duke means that candidate is branded a racist. Buh-bye Gabby.

I am pretty sure that lefties exempt themselves from this...

Hillary Clinton said this about Robert Byrd. They did not even blink an eye:

This morning, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton put out her own statement eulogizing Byrd as a “friend and mentor” as “a man of unsurpassing eloquence and nobility.”

“It is almost impossible to imagine the United States Senate without Robert Byrd. He was not just its longest serving member, he was its heart and soul. From my first day in the Senate, I sought out his guidance, and he was always generous with his time and his wisdom,” Clinton wrote.

NAACP Mourns Byrd's death.

Stupid spudpeeler :rofl2:

David Duke was a Democrat party presidential candidate back in '88 ... so I'm not super surprised.

Another failure by the Appalachian Asshole.

"His run was notable in that after failing to gain traction in the Democratic primaries he switched and became the candidate for the Populist Party and he won the 1988 New Hampshire Vice-Presidential primary."

Have a literate 10 year old read and explain it to you, spudpeeler

No need too. I understand it completely. Stand on a chair, maybe you can see the screen better. Or is it just the sun heating the air directly that is affecting you??

And the NAACP said this about Byrd, illiterate waaterboy.

"“Senator Byrd reflects the transformative power of this nation,” stated NAACP President and CEO Benjamin Todd Jealous. “Senator Byrd went from being an active member of the KKK to a being a stalwart supporter of the Civil Rights Act, the Voting Rights Act and many other pieces of seminal legislation that advanced the civil rights and liberties of our country."

Fucking illiterate

You are easily duped. Stupid in fact. Democrats rely on people like you and are rewarded handsomely.

As long as he had a D in front of his name it doesn't matter to them. The NAACP probably thinks Lincoln was a white nationalist precursor to nazi's because he was a republican. Not the brightest group there.

You didn't flinch about him endorsing Trump, so I'm sure I speak for many in not giving a fuck. Most Dems I've seen aren't that keen on Tulsi. Is it just me, or does Duke just put his hat in behind the less desirable candidates? Or does it have to do with who else put their hat in? I didn't even bother to check the source, to see if it carries any weight.

Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) on Tuesday denounced David Duke, a founder and former grand wizard of the Ku Klux Klan, and rejected his 2020 endorsement.

“I have strongly denounced David Duke’s hateful views and his so-called ‘support’ multiple times in the past, and reject his support,” Gabbard said in a statement to The Hill.

“Publicizing Duke's so-called ‘endorsement’ is meant to distract from my message: that I will end regime-change wars, work to end the new cold war and take us away from the precipice of a nuclear war, which is a greater danger now than ever before.”

No more than Trump did, I guess, but you didn't scruple to make the same observation then, did you?

Answer, Christiecrite. :D

First he claimed he never heard of him (haha). "Trump was asked by CNN's Jake Tapper on "State of the Union" if he would disavow Duke and other white supremacist groups supporting his campaign.
"Just so you understand, I don't know anything about David Duke, OK?" Trump responded.

Then he changed his mind and claimed that even though (" I don't know anything about David Duke"), "I disavowed him in the past, I disavow him now."

"David Duke is a bad person, who I disavowed on numerous occasions over the years," Trump said on MSNBC's "Morning Joe."

"I disavowed him. I disavowed the KKK," Trump added. "Do you want me to do it again for the 12th time? I disavowed him in the past, I disavow him now." [insert emoji of forked tongue here] :D
