true. But it can't be written by the 15th to avoid another partial shutdown.
This is about only funding DHS and Coast Guard ( a few others) as the rest of fiscal 2019 is already funded.

So they compromise to keep the government open [and the Congress still needs to do immigration reform]
Which is why Trump offered 3 years..
The real problem as always is Congress can't do it's job - why we are getting swamped in asylum claims as well

Congress can do anything it wants. They can Compromise, or they can go Gridlock.
(Personally, I think Democrats have things to do and are willing to compromise to get things done)

Yes Dems have priorities as well. but do they care about their priorities,or do they care abut sticking it to Trump?

yep. Dems think it's gonna be a cakewalk. it's not going to be. No collusion, no impeachment
and the USA is roaring economy with no wars.

My comment had nothing to do with any investigations, it had all to do with the Gridlock that Republicans thought was a brilliant strategy with Obama.

Unfortunately, or not, nothing bad happening to him will be good for the country....

That said, he claimed to be the law & order president, so let him be judged w/ his own measure!!!

since when do i link my opinions? the general tenor has been Trump is a 1 term POTUS
( either a blithering idiot who can't succeed or 'collusioned out' and impeached)

I think now that they got skin in the game they are starting to wake up , that Trump is successful
( of course the loony left socialists are so out of touch I have no clue what they believe)
and all they need to do is resist isn't going to do it
