Okay? I still think she should go through the justice system. It's not likely she'd get a pass on what she did and would have to do time in prison.

Btw re: your quote, that's the sentiment the US uses to justify indefinite detention of those in Guantanamo.

She has a baby, so would probably never serve any time in prison. She has never shown even the slightest remorse or contrition. She also said that she was happy in Syria so why should we let her back? She had a Dutch husband so why can't they take her?

Understand that I don't think she's a good person and there's no way for me or anyone to determine if she's sincere or not. However, I think the US should follow the rule of law and bring her back to face charges because until we're told otherwise by someone besides the trump administration, she's a citizen. And she could certainly do jail time even though she has a baby; plenty of mothers here do. Our news outlets have stated that she did show remorse and knows if she comes back she'll have to do jail time. Also they've made no mention of her having a Dutch husband she could go to.
