The question is how would retailers be doing [apart from the online aspect] under the Obama economy vs the Trump economy?

President Obama started with a crisis economy...and turned it around.

Trump started with an economy on an upward trajectory. He just hasn't had time to turn it around yet. But I'm sure he will manage it. He's lucky, everything he touches turns to shit.
