I hate it..like we don't get enough sun down here we have to wait till 9:30 around the solstice for the sun to go down?
I can't psychologically settle down and cheese out with weed and TV when it's still daylight.

Since Maine is on the far eastern edge of the Eastern Time Zone, we are trying to switch to the Atlantic time zone, and then do away with DST.

Unfortunately it means that up here instead of getting light at 6:45am (eastern), which corresponds well with my diurnal cycle, it will now revert back to not getting light till almost 8am, which does not. It's nice though to have that extra hour of day light at the end of the day. "Our" deer herd comes regularly around 4pm to receive their gifts of alfalfa and tired produce the stores give away. I guess they're really going to be confused when it doesn't show up till 5pm. lol
