Someone in Hollywood speaking out against a Republican isn't exactly going out on a limb. If you're a liberal country star and you speak out against a Republican that takes professional courage. Same for a Republican speaking out in Hollywood.

Jackson is old, rich and established. Making these comments isn't really going to have a material affect on him.

Why would I have a problem with what Sambo L Jackson said? I don’t care. I will se the movies he is in. Neither of us is impacted.
