As most everyone knows by now, one of Donald Trump's favorite words is "sad." He uses it almost daily, in his sad and rambling speeches to his base, in his sadly misspelled tweets, in his often sadly incoherent responses to questions from the sad representatives of the fake news, those people who are, so sadly, the "enemies of the people." There's a variety of people and things to which he has affixed the sad adjective. It was "sad" what they did to Robert Kraft when he got busted for soliciting for prostitution. It was "sad" when the feds raided Manafort's house early in the morning. The Mueller investigation was "sad." The way Michael Cohen was treated was "sad," until it wasn't sad anymore. The Democrats insistence on making him accountable has been "sad," as is the whole system of checks and balances, apparently. What was done to Brett Kavanaugh was "sad." Carly Fiorina (remember her?) was sad, as was Jeb Bush. Lyin' Ted Cruz was sad before he redeemed himself with a variety of shameless acts of contrition. Glenn Beck's failure to be an early cheerleader for Trump was "sad." The New York Times was, and is, not only "failing," but "sad." The National Review was also said to be "sad." Whoopi Goldberg is "terrible," and "very sad."

It's difficult for Libs to understand a love for America, and why these things would make someone who actually loves America, sad. I get it.
