Yes it is but the Taoiseach is an arsehole, especially over the backstop and Brexit. By the way, my parents were Irish born and I've been to every county, both north and south, over the years. Used to work for T-Mobile and part of my patch was Northern Ireland.

I lived in Europe for three years but never made it to Ireland. My neighbor was there and was charmed by the scenic beauty and the great people. They are going back this summer for a full month in Ireland.

Perhaps they will invite me and my esposa.

I take that long view because I have to, i come from that generation that grew up with school shootings as the norm, the generation that produced the bulk of the troops in the post-9/11 conflicts, the generation that is going to be on the business end of climate change for as long as we live.
