Agreed except the impeachment. It is quite clear the President Trump has committed a crime by breaking campaign finance law. There is compelling evidence. The right thing to do as public servants would be to proceed. By letting this ride in deference to political considerations Democrats are setting a terrible precedent, a crook is once again squeaking by and getting away with a crime unpunished.

And that negative attitude is 100% the attitude (or faux attitude) of the Democratic Party today.
The bottom line is that you can’t govern if you don’t win. You need 270 electoral votes to do that. Nothing else matters. One-hundred percent of your efforts as a candidate for President should be focused on getting those 250 electoral votes. And, sadly for most Americans, they read only the headlines, hear only the soundbites, and have an attention span that can only take in the first few bullet points. Our President is an embodiment of this laziness. As lazy and vapid and daft and sad as it is, the votes of a person like this not only equal that of the nation’s greatest political scientists…the numbers overwhelm the more learned voters.
Peeling off .05-1.0 percent of these folks is what Harris, Warren, O’Rourke, Biden, and all of the others should be doing; 24/7/556 (# of days until election) because it will help them get to 270. NOTHING ELSE MATTERS.
While the cause is just and the reason is noble, it’s politically foolish to do this when there is no hope of removal from office, and while many Americans will think, “the report didn’t find him guilty, why is the Congress trying?”
