black voters were not the only ones targeted this way

Latinos

Koya Graham, 36, says she no longer sees "voting as a means to an end" and does not intend to vote for president this November.

This November's presidential election comes on the heels of a year of incomparable black activism.
Young activists are protesting in the streets, organizing on college campuses and disrupting campaign rallies to push for change in powerful ways.
You might expect this political energy to be reflected at the ballot box. But some activists, like Koya Graham, don't see much of a point in voting for president.
When Graham turned 18, the first thing she did was register to vote. And, year-after-year, she was a loyal voter — until this primary season.
"I'm not interested anymore. I don't see any immediate, significant changes happening," says Graham, now 36. "I don't see voting as a means to an end."
Graham recognizes that her decision could be controversial.
"I know people use the argument, 'Well, black people have fought so hard to get the right to vote and then how can you not vote?' I understand, I understand your point," she says with an exasperated sigh. "But, we vote, we vote these people into office, but once they get into office — then what?"

You do realize, or maybe you don't, that the majority of Black people they interview on tv are conservative?

They don't dare interview real Black Americans because we will tell the truth.

But I won't go down this road again.

not accepting facts wont get us a win

There not facts.

But I can't degerrymander white people. They are hell bent on believing every story about Blacks from the media.

Go ahead and blame us for dump winning and getting re elected......it's you all who have to live with yourselves.

Like I said, he's the worst president in American history. Tell me who is worse and can lose to him?

It is not a question of who is "better" or "worse." Trump has the support of about 63 million Republican voters. Democrats like Delaney, Yang, Inslee, Hickenlooper, Messam, Ryan, Swalwell, Buttigieg, and Moulton have zero name recognition and can never garner that many votes to beat Trump.

Everybody does not put everything in terms of race.

Here we go...……...

It is silly not to recognize that low black turnout (compared to Obama) could have changed the election outcome. It is just a fact nobody disputes if they are objective. So could the 8-9 million Obama voters who voted for Trump.

You don't have to believe "the media." Just look at the voter turnout records. It is not the fault of black voters that they had no enthusiasm for Hillary. She had negative approval scores among whites, also

The Washington Post article says 1/3 of the 4.4 million Obama voters who stayed home in 2016 were black. That does not put most of the blame on those black voters. What we do know is that if those black voters had voted they would have voted Democratic. We don't know that for sure for the others. Stating a fact is not the same for blaming a race for Trump's win.

Polls.

Polls predicted this:
