My statement was an echo of what we heard here when the Mueller report came out. Most of the RWers started hollering that Trump is innocent, and others that he was exonerated. As it turns out, Mueller did not say that he was exonerated. And he punted the obstruction issue.

Mueller is a hack who wants it both ways.. considering the certainty of Russian collusion and the crap Trump supporters have had to put up with ( while the border spasms from simple lack of legislation), and delusions of "manufactured crisis" since Trump took Office - I'm not all that upset if the RW did a victory dance on declaring innocence

afterall the LW will not declare him cleared of collusion and obstruction ( the legal standard)- forget "exoneration"

Mullet could have indicted Trump for obstruction.

Whether the indictment would stand would create a constitutional ‘crisis’ [the term is over used] but there was nothing preventing Mullet from indicting Trump and letting the courts sort it out. And he would have done the Trump haters a big favor.

Bit Mullet pussied out on making the call. He ended up even weaseling the democrats.

You do realize that if Donald Trump gets impeached, he can no longer be elected for a 2nd term- don't you?

The House can impeach Donald Trump anytime they choose!

We all know he has cooked his own goose! And that you can put a fork in him, as he is about done!

Ever wonder why lol?

Maybe Mullet suspects Barr’s investigation and the IG report will turn up some unpleasant things—even though some could argue Trump obstructed the investigation.

I’d be tempted to punt on it too, under the circumstances.
