F.B.I. Sent Investigator Posing as Assistant to Meet With Trump Aide in 2016

Your link does not say that.

Predicate is just legalese for ‘justification’.

You have to have a legitimate justification to spy or use surveillance on US citizens. Fourth Amendment and all that. Barr wants to find out if spying on the Trump campaign was justified.

I don’t know what the big deal is unless democrats have something to fear from the investigation.

They are sure acting like they do have something to fear from it.

because some blog says so? Is it a law? Can you be prosecuted for not following that "guideline"?

1) how does this contradict the Mueller report?

2) so what, nothing wrong with finding out if a campaign is working with a foreign advissary. .

Yeah, spying on an opposition campaign based on specious evidence is totally okay.

Move to Russia, your beliefs are practiced there.

Good question lol.

My guess is the order came from the 7th Floor. They could have gone rogue though.

I actually don’t care about Obama.

Oooooooh I think Bama knows everything about everything and all parts of what went on for the last 3 years.
For instance:
"The Obama White House invited Ukrainian law enforcement officials to a meeting in January 2016 as Trump rose in the polls on his improbable path to the presidency. The meeting led to U.S. requests to the Ukrainians to help investigate Manafort, setting in motion a series of events that led to the Ukrainians leaking the documents about Manafort in May 2016."

I’m basing my opinion on the Fourth Amendment. You’re familiar with *unlawful* searches?

Do they still teach the constitution in law school?

Did I say that? Try answering the question asked...

You need a predicate for a search, I agree, but not to investigate.
You have to get a warrant to search.
