Everyone on opioids is not addicted because it was prescribed to them by doctors, dummy. That can happen but many do it for recreation and never had an Rx in their life.

Furthermore, it's not the gubmint's responsibility to cure the ills of the culture and druggies.

A weird thing I noticed is that when there is a drug epidemic in the white people community, it tends to get categorized and treated as a public health and mental health issue.

When a drug epidemic is perceived to be largely associated with the black community, the proper response seems to be severe prison sentences, stripping the right to vote, and treating the whole issue as one of criminal law and law enforcement.
 
Cypress, why do you think in '94 that Bill Clinton and a Democratic controlled congress passed the crime bill that it did? It had a lot of support from the Black Congressional Caucus as well. In the '80's many black (Democratic) leaders supported tough anti-drug laws.

In your opinion were these self hating folks? Why would ostensibly non racist white and black people support these tough on drug crime bills that largely affected the black community? Was this all a mind fvck of white supremacy?

Cypress is simply trying to rewrite history again as he did with his pathetic attempt to give Carter credit for the end of the cold war. We both know that Cypress is a dishonest, unethical, abuser of women. He is a party hack incapable of critical thinking.

He is a superb parrot though. His masters trained him well.
